“This is a great post; very informative! You’re absolutely right, blogging for companies can achieve some things that other outlets are not capable of.” — 9/24/11 10:58 PM

“This is really too bad! Toyota is going to be needing some PR masterminds to clean this one up. The first step was the CEO being honest about the situation, I wonder what their next move will be!” — 9/24/11 10:56 PM

“I love how you compared Public Relations to that of an art and a science. You need to have creative ability, but you also need to know the methods oJeremy – I haven’t really figured out the whole Google+ thing myself yet either. As for the PR aspect, I’m not entirely sure what kind of effect it will have. Thus far, it doesn’t seem to have that many users compared to other social media outlets. Virtually none of my friends have made a Google+ account. I did it out of curiosity and haven’t really used it since. I’m curious as to what kind of success rate it’s had for businesses thus far, if at all.f getting things done!” — 9/23/11 10:49 PM

See, I find this very interesting! I am always reading articles about how social you should be on social networks, this is the first time I’ve seen the opposite. This all good information and good to remember if you ever get in a situation where you should be ‘anti-social’. The use of social platforms isn’t always appropriate. — 10/17/11 6:46PM

I love this! It was hilarious yet informative at the same time. I have to say, number three may be my favorite outrageous PR stunt on the list. How did they even manage that? Anyways, these are all great ideas if you actually have the resources to pull them off! — 10/22/11 10:37PM

Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly. I’ve been hearing that many companies have been attempting to jump on the Pinterest bandwagon, but wasn’t sure how they were successfully doing it. Pinterest is all about visualization so it’s interesting to see how some businesses are trying to do this. — 2/13/12 9:37AM

Interesting article…but now we need to address their most current crisis. Two comments: of course these videos must simplify “complex” situations…but they must to enable action. Get too involved in rationalizaions and any atrocities become allowable. The line of what is acceptable must be bright. Secondly, the repercussions of witnessing such barbarism can take a fearsome toll on the soul. It is a courageous act to make that video…and it is morally courageous for us to act on it. — 3/18/12

I so agree. You can really find yourself in hot water at times with social media. Sometimes if someone gives a bad review, people come out of the woodwork and it has a domino effect. — 3/26/12

Not only did I love this because it revolved around the Hunger Games, but also because you explained this so clearly. Grammar is something that I am always trying to improve and is such an important aspect of the job. Thank you! — 4/6/12 2:03PM

I am currently a college student studying PR and this article has really given me insight! I would have never thought a political campaign would give you this many of the  skills you need for PR. Thanks for the article! — 4/13/12
